ADA Tax Credit

To help small businesses of offset the costs of ADA compliance and to encourage them to provide equal access for customers and employees, Congress approved the following tax incentive:

Under IRC 44 the Disabled Access Credit (form 8826) is available to businesses that have 30 or fewer employees or total revenue of $1,000,000 or less.  Businesses can receive an annual credit of up to $5,000 a year for hiring interpreters (along with other aids in removing barriers for the disabled.  More details can be found at irs.gov).
