EIPA Testing Information

Testing candidates must register through the EIPA website.

Test candidate will receive a confirmation email from Beyond the Words, Inc. with testing information within 72 hours of requesting an exam time slot at our testing site.

The test proctor fee of $85.00 must be paid within 72 hours of registration.  Payment can be submitted via Venmo @Beyondthewordsinc.

What You Need to Know Before Taking the Exam

Testing Candidates need to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the actual exam test time (for example if your test is at 9:30am, please plan to arrive on site between 9:10am and 9:15am)

Please re-read the EIPA testing information on their website.  Any questions or concerns can be submitted to eipa@boystown.org.

Bring your valid government-issued ID.  If you do not have your government issued ID, the exam will NOT be administered to you.

 

Acceptable forms of identification are:

  • Government-issued driver’s license
  • State ID card
  • Non-expired Passport
  • Military ID (except those with chips)
  • Permanent resident visa or green card

Unacceptable forms of identification include:

  •  Employee identification or work badge
  • University/college identification
  • Credit/debit/bank cards with accompanying photograph

Candidate’s name on the photo ID and the candidate’s name on the EIPA registration must match.

Special accommodations must be made through EIPA prior to taking the exam. No same day accommodations can be made.  Test Administrator/Proctor is not authorized to review or approve any special accommodations

Any adjustments to the testing candidate’s registration must be done directly with EIPA at Boys Town either via email at EIPA@boystown.org or by calling 531-355-5039.

The testing site does not have authorization to make any changes to a testing candidate’s account information, registration or test.

 

Testers are not permitted to bring the following items into the exam room:

  • Cell Phones/Electronic Devices
  • Purses Bags/Backpacks
  • Watches of any kind
  • Wallets
  • Written materials (including books and notes)
  • Pens, pencils, or any writing instruments
  • Unnecessary Clothing or Headgear (except religious apparel), otherwise no hats, gloves, jacket, etc.
  • Large Jewelry (wedding bands are okay)
  • Food or Drink

 

It is recommended that testers not bring any personal/high value items to the testing site.  Any such items should be left in the trunk of their vehicle.

If you do bring personal items to the test site, the test administrator will show you where to store them. Neither the test administrator nor testing agency will be responsible for lost or stolen items.
